<p>Gilbert Rollins &ldquo;Rollin&rdquo; Nevin, 91, of Gardner, formerly of Charlestown, RI, died peacefully, Sunday, November 29, 2020, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Gardner, after an illness.</p> <p>Born in Meriden, CT, on October 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Gilbert S. and Emma (Sedgwick) Nevin. He graduated from Meriden High School with the Class of 1949. Rollin was a United States Army Veteran. He was a banker employed by the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company for 45-years until his retirement in 1992.</p> <p>Rollin was a parishioner of the First Congregational Church of Meriden, CT. He was a member of the Free Mason Meriden Lodge #77, Meriden, CT, and the Sphinx Shriners of Newington, CT.</p> <p>Rollin is survived by his two sons, Keith C. Nevin of Meriden, CT, Gilbert S. Nevin and his wife Arelne of Hubbardston, MA; two daughters, Deborah E. Nevin of Rocky Hills, CT, and Leslie B. Kaczenski and her husband Thomas of New Britian, CT; ten grandchildren, Robert and Katie Chaplin, Holly, Laura , Brandon, Adam and Emily Nevin, Carrie Manchester, Jennifer Edgington, and Christine Feliciano; six great-grandchildren, Amy, Ryan, and Eathn Pasakinskas, Eric and Kyle Edgington, Alexander Feliciano; and a nephew, John Raven.</p> <p>He was predeceased by his wife Margaret A.
