James Edward Lyons Sr. 87, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away in his sleep Tuesday November 24th, 2020 after a long battle with stage 4 lung cancer. His son Eddie and daughter-in-law Glenda were by his side. He was born September 1, 1933 to James Burton Lyons and Norma Jean Lyons in Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burt and Norma Lyons, his son Daniel and his third wife Delia, as well as many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his 6 children, Sandra Lyons, Richard Lyons, James Edward (Eddie) Lyons Jr. (Glenda) and Ann Baisden (Terry), all of Arizona, John Lyons (Cindy) of New Mexico and Sheryl Ishihara of Anchorage Alaska, his two stepsons, Leon Dudley and Jack Dudley of Arizona, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Friday 9:00 A.M. December 4th, 2020 at the Desert Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Yuma.
