Myrtle McCoy White, 91, of Warm Springs, GA, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Warm Springs Nursing Home, Warm Springs, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. White will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Manchester, with burial in the Meriwether Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. White was born August 14, 1924 in Warm Springs, GA, the daughter of John Robert McCoy and Sarah Frances Buchanan McCoy. She was a retired licensed practical nurse at the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation in Warm Springs for almost 50 years. She was a former city council member for the City of Warm Springs and she graduated from Manchester High School. She was a lifelong resident of Warm Springs, GA. She is survived by her husband Brother Ed White of Warm Springs; daughter Marie Martin Melle of Warm Springs; and son Roger White and his wife Jan of Auburn, GA.
