Iva Jean (Palmer) Munson, 95, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 27, 2020 at Satanta Long Term Care Unit, Satanta, KS. Iva Jean was the only child of Walter and Lila (Kingsinger) Palmer, She was born March 8, 1925, in Cherokee, OK. She attended school in Richfield, KS. and Buford, AR. Iva Jean and Herman Gale Munson were married on December 21, 1944, at Richfield, KS. To this union were 4 children. Katherine Jane Gilbert, Kenneth Munson, Barbara Williams, and Darroll Munson. Iva Jean was a member of Moscow Baptist Church, Moscow, KS. Survivors include, daughter, Katherine Jane Gilbert, Moscow, KS; two sons, Kenneth Munson and wife Parma, Sublette, KS., Darroll Munson and wife Susan, Moscow, KS; son-in-law Duane Williams, Hugoton, KS; 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 29 great, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Munson, daughter, Barbara Williams, son-in-law Charlie Gilbert, And grandson-in-law Grady Owens. A memorial has been established for Moscow Baptist Church or Satanta Long Term Care Unit. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020, 12 pm to 6 pm and Friday, December 4, 2020, 10 am to 8 pm, Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 10:00 am at Moscow Baptist Church, Moscow, KS. Pastor Steve Swan presiding.
