On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, Terry Mosier, loving husband and father of two daughters, passed away at the age of 69. Terry was born on May 22, 1951, in Sterling, KS, to Orlin and Donna (Steierl) Mosier. He majored in music at Wichita State University. On July 3, 1974, he married Diane (Sue) Horne. Together they raised two daughters, Tamra and Shannon. Terry was not a man to shy from hard work and made it a priority to provide and take care of his family.Terry had a passion for music. He played guitar and sang for the bands: Pilgrim 20, Driftwood, and Ravens/Disciples of Soul. His singing ability was admired not only by friends and family, but also by all who attended his performances. In his youth he was known for his athleticism and leadership. All through his life he was known for his patience, his beautiful blue eyes, and his kind, yet strong willed spirit. He is survived by his wife Diane, his two daughters, Tamra Sauer of Phillipsburg, KS, and Shannon Palmer of Wichita, KS, his mother, Donna Smith and sister, Joan Wyatt both of Abilene, KS, and eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Orlin Mosier. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled in spring of 2021 in Hutchinson, KS.
