Oliver L. Somoza

Oliver L. Somoza of Manhattan passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2020. He was 37. Born in New York City, Oliver was the son of Gerardo and Mary Mooney Somoza. Oliver started developing his real estate instincts at an early age, Oliver created S7 Real Estate with his sister Gabriella, to create a portfolio of personal real estate investments for his family. He then started his venture, Turnkey Property Pro to help everyday people find success in real estate investment. His passion for building affordable housing enabled Turnkey to bring new life to properties in blighted neighborhoods of Philadelphia and Baltimore. Oliver had the kindest heart which eventually gave out on Thanksgiving day in the late evening. He breathed his last breath on earth, and his first in heaven. He was caring, loving, gentle and loved by all his family, friends, and his girlfriend Emily with whom he was planning to marry and start a family. He was so incredibly funny and always making everyone laugh with his jokes. He will be greatly missed by all. In addition to his parents Mary and Gerardo, Oliver was the brother of twin sisters Anastasia and Alba Somoza of New York City, Gabriella of Cape May, NJ; and his girlfriend Emily Tursi of Mount Laurel, NJ. In lieu of flowers, should you wish to make a donation in his name to PureVision Arts, 114 West 17th Street, 3rd floor, New York, NY10019 www.purevisionarts.org where his sister Alba is an artist along with other artists with disabilities.

Memorial Contributions

Pamela Rogers, Director of PureVision Arts

We believe Oliver would have wanted donations be made to his sister's art program to benefit all the artists with disabilities who work alongside her. Alba has cerebral palsy and is quadriplegic, and the art studio at Pure Visions has suffered huge budget cuts this last August. We will have more information on Monday Dec. 7th about how people can make donations to the art studio directly online, but checks can be sent directly to: Pamela Rogers, Director of PureVision Arts, 114 West 17th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10011
