Barry John Walcome, 63, of New Holland passed away on Sunday November 29, 2020 at his home peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Barry is a son of the late, Robert F. and Edith S. (Miller) Walcome, born in Darby Pennsylvania on December 17, 1956. Barry had just retired in May from CNH New Holland after 30 years of employment. There are so many amazing and kind things to say about him. Barry was the foundation of our beautiful crazy family. The mold that this amazing, kind, caring and bubbly man was made from, was broken after he was born. Barry was a one-of-a-kind kind of guy, anyone who crossed paths with him was exceptionally lucky to have done so. He was the sunshine that lit up our lives every day and would always let his and wife and children know how much he loved them, by sending us loving messages at random. Barry was the best husband, father of 4 daughters and pop pop to many beautiful grandchildren. He always had an infectious smile on his face and never complained nor did he ever get upset. Barry loved the Phillies, Flyers, riding his motorcycle, playing poker and good ole 1970's music and spending time with his soulmate. The love he had for his wife Diane L. (Seese) Walcome after 26 years of marriage was truly something beautiful. After he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, he accepted his fate but made the best of the days he had left. He lived the life he wanted to live and was happy and so loved by many people. Today, our lives seem less bright, very quiet and our hearts are filled with sadness. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, William Walcome. Barry leaves behind his wife Diane; 4 daughters, Jennifer Maltrese, wife of Jamie, both of Peoria, AZ, Jessica Reed, fiancée of Chaz Hearn, of Adamstown, PA, Leigh Bartgis, wife of Travis, of New Holland, PA, Lauren Walcome, companion of John Bucklin, of New Holland, PA. Barry also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Mikayla, Kennady, Summer, Aly, Lillie, Luna, Ryder, Cole and Calab; a brother, Robert; two sisters, Beth Ann and Barbara; many nieces and nephews.
