James T. Murrah, Sr., 87, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020.  He was born in West Columbia, SC to the late Jameson and Sarah Murrah. 

James is survived by his wife of 68 years, Norma J. Murrah; his sons, James (Sandy) Murrah, Jr., and Daniel (Rita) Murrah; his grandchildren, Erik, Sabrina, Darren and Rachel; and his 10 great-grandchildren. 

James was Norma’s everything.  He will be remembered as a great husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

James is preceded in death by his brother, Millard Murrah; his sisters, Geneva Mattingly, Laura Corley, Mildred Wooten, Tina Richbourgh, and Nunie Jeffcoat.

A visitation for James will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:00AM in Lexington Baptist Church, 308 E. Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00AM in the church.  Burial will at Southland Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.  The family would like to thank the honorary pallbearers for all their love and support.
