Nimer Salameh, Jr. Our sweet, precious angel, Junior given to us 59 years ago went to his heavenly home on November 26, 2020. We are so grateful to have had him with us for as long as we did and are profoundly heartbroken at the same time. Junior was our “Cowardly Lion” fiercely independent at times while being totally dependent. He was our blessing from God, a kind, loving and gentle soul. He was our joy. He loved so deeply and was truly cherished by his family, friends and all that knew him. He was voted “ACTOR” in his high school yearbook and lived up to that description! His day program once voted him “CLASS CLOWN”, imagine that! He participated in many events for Special Olympics, track and field and later wheelchair bowling. He was funny, goofy and had a sweet innocence. He loved his Arabic music, playing his tapes for hours each day and singing along. His room was his “office” and everywhere we went, even on vacation, we were expected to set up a desk or table “office” for him so he could write and do his artwork. Junior, so unique and special and adored by his mother Georgette. Mom spent her whole life taking care of him but in return he always took care of her, daily taking her hand in his sweet way and asking her if she was ok. There was no greater love than to see them together; he had a sense of duty towards his family. Rest in peace without pain or the limitations you lived with our precious Prince and we will make sure Mom is ok from now on. Our family appreciates the love and support everyone has shown to us.
