Robert Sloan “Bob” Brentson, 79, of Hopkinsville, KY formerly of Daytona Beach, FL died on Monday, November 30, 2020 at ContinuedCARE Hospital at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Private graveside services will be held in Daytona Beach, FL. Dogwood Funerals and Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements. He was born in Albany, New York on November 24, 1941 the son of Bernt Robert Brentson and Marion Oliver Croteau. He was retired after working over 50 years as a carpenter. He was a hard worker; he never met a stranger and was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 47 years Carol “Ca” McClune Brentson, and his brother in law and sister in law, Jim and Eileen Fox. Survivors include his daughter: Cherie Anne (Mark) Neal of Crofton, Ky; son: Robert Sloan (Danielle) Brentson, Jr. of Thompsons Station, TN; brother: Richard Brentson of Killeen, TX, aunt: Terry Brentson of Summerfield, Fl; grandchildren: Daniel (Audrey) Brentson of Rochester, NY, Madison Brentson and Olivia Brentson of Thompsons Station, TN; step grandchildren: Courtney (Justin) Bertrand, Charla (Brandon) Cleary, Chandra (John) Biermann, Shaylah Mott, Kaitlyn Mott and Sean Mott as well as numerous cousins, nephews and a niece.Obituary
