Elton E. Hart Obituary

Elton E. Hart was born to Hershel and Ethel Hart in Knobel, Arkansas, on October 31, 1934. He was the youngest of five sons; Eugene, Erlin, Julian, Henry, and Elton. He was preceded in death by all his family.
He was a graduate of Knobel High School in 1952. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army and began his enlistment as a photographer and was assigned to a tour of duty in Korea. From Korea, he went to Washington, D. C. After being discharged, Elton became an FBI agent. In a career move, he terminated his employment with the bureau and began working for Easter Air Line, working as a Customer Service Representative. He worked for Eastern out of Utah and Florida until the Air Line went out of business. The last position he held in the work force was with PLWC in Paragould. Except for a short stay in Jonesboro, Arkansas, upon retirement he remained in Paragould, where he enjoyed the rest of his life among family and friends.
Elton enjoyed life! He never met a stranger. Perhaps that is why he enjoyed his time Eastern so much. Asa Customer Service Representative. He loved to deal with people and any time a trip came up that needed a chaperon he would volunteer to go, no matter the destination, Japan, China, etc.
He always enjoyed a good joke or prank. He and his five brothers were masters at creating ways to  make each other the object of a good prank. They inherited this trait from their father, Hershel. if a good prank was going down, you could bet Elton was somewhere near.
Perhaps the thing people will remember Elton for the most was his love for dogs, especially his own, "Gabby". She was his companion and his friend and went everywhere with him. He thought people weren't good people if they didn't love animals. Every picture made of him at home included "Gabby".
Elton was a gentle man and a good man, loved by everyone who knew him. Elton passed from this life on November 27, 2020. He will be missed by his Niece and two Nephews, as well as, a host of other family members, friends, and acquaintances.

Lasting memorials may be made to the NEA Humane Society.
