<p>Micheal Anson Parish passed from this life to be in the presence of our Lord on Monday, November 30, 2020 (2Cor5:8).&nbsp; As a disciple of Jesus, Mr. Parish devoted his life to sharing the gospel.&nbsp; As a young man, after his service as a Corpsman in U.S. Navy, he followed, in obedience, to full time ministry as an evangelist.&nbsp; Being a black belt in Kung Fu, Mr. Parish traveled the country preaching the truth of God&rsquo;s Word using Karate as an object lesson.&nbsp; As a result, many souls were saved.&nbsp; Mr. Parish resided in Hixson, TN, where he taught in the Hamilton County School system. Later, Mr. Parish continued working in the ministry as the Business Manager of Highland Park Baptist Church until his retirement. He was an active member and deacon at Bible Baptist Church in Hixson, TN.</p> <p>Mike was born July 13, 1945 in Marion, OH.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lowell &ldquo;Bud&rdquo; and Annabelle Parish; brothers, Buddy Parish and Richard Parish.</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia; daughter, Michelle (Ali) Parish-Bagci; grandson, Reagan Micheal Bagci; brothers and sisters Joyce Smith, Janice (Richard) Anderson, Joe (Mary) Parish, Jerry (Bev) Parish, Wanda (Lanny) Imboden and June (Marden) Watts.</p> <p>A graveside service with military honors will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN, Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2:00PM.</p>
