Tippure S. “Tip” Sundresh, age 77, of Naperville, IL since 1987, formerly of Brooklyn, NY and Bangalore, India, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from non-smoker’s lung cancer. He was born December 25, 1942 to his loving late parents, T.S. and Rajamma Subbaraya, in Mysore, India. Cherished husband of Mary Anne Sundresh, nee Cochrane, wedded on June 4, 1975. Beloved father of Salil Sundresh and Sameer (Diana) Sundresh. Dearest brother of the late Lakshmi (Y. N.) Narayana. Dearest uncle of Y.N. Arun Kumar (Mangala) and Y.N. Srikant (Nandini). Loving brother-in-law of Nancy (Suat) Akgun and the late Charles H. Cochrane, Jr. Fond uncle-in-law of Kathleen (Paige) Brennan, Atilla (Heather) Akgun, Altay Akgun and numerous family and friends. Tip received his PhD from Brooklyn Poly Technic (NYU) and his MBA from Northern Illinois University. He spent many years as an engineer for HAL in India and retired from Lucent Technologies in Naperville. Tip enjoyed playing tennis, walking, star gazing, gardening, electronics projects and wood working. He was a man of numerous interests and skills.
