James Michael "Mike" Bowen

James Michael “Mike” Bowen Westminster – James Michael “Mike” Bowen, 62, husband of Teresa Cox Bowen, passed away Sunday, November 29th, 2020 at Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Oconee County, he was the son of Jimmy Bowen and the late Barbara Deal Elliott. Mike was formerly employed in the textile industry, he was a United States Navy veteran, a member of the Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92, and Return Baptist Church. Mike is survived by his sons, Stephen Duane Bowen (Tabitha), Christopher Michael Bowen (Bridget), and their mother Nancy Bowen; daughter, Amanda Reed (Jeremy);brothers, Marty Bowen (Carolyn), Jamie Bowen; sisters, Tonya Burton (Mark), Tina King; six grandchildren, Duncan and Cadence Bowen, Haden and Savanna Reed, Duane and Hunter Bowen; and his step-mother, Sandra Bowen. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at 10:30 am, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
