<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;Lydia Patricia &ldquo;Patsy&rdquo; Estrada of Safford passed away on November 28, 2020.&nbsp; She was born in Safford, AZ on March 17, 1963 to Henry Estrada &amp; Libby Palma Estrada with siblings Gloria, Henry Jr., Kathy, Danny, Art, Victor, and Rudy.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;Patsy graduated from Safford High School in 1981, and went on to attend Eastern Arizona College.&nbsp; She enjoyed playing softball so much that she began coaching.&nbsp; She was very blessed to have four girls; Joanna, Lydia Kayla, and Tessa.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;She truly loved playing &amp; coaching softball, fishing, camping, attending sporting events, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren.&nbsp; Patsy was also very excited about being able to go through the Temple for the first time, as she was very devoted to her faith.&nbsp; Pasty loved seeing her granddaughter win a state championship, and living long enough to see her children grown.&nbsp;&nbsp;</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;She also enjoyed watching scary movies and ghost hunting.&nbsp; She was a loyal, protective, hilarious, comforting, and untraditional person who always saw the good in people.&nbsp; Her favorite quotes were &ldquo;Family is everything&rdquo;, and &ldquo;It will heal before you&rsquo;re married&rdquo;.&nbsp; She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, coach, and daughter.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;Patsy is survived by her daughters Joanna (Tom) Jackson, Lydia (Rusty) Carter, Kayla Berryhill, and Tessa Brock.&nbsp; She is also survived by her siblings Gloria Upton, Henry (Kathy) Estrada, Kathy Estrada, Victor Estrada, Art (Michael) Estrada, and Rudy Estrada, nine grandchildren; Mia, Macey, Milee, Drake, Lacie, Coltin, Hoyt, Call McCoy, and Kaytelin, one great-grandchild Caiden Schad, and her pets Sammy, and Peanut.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;She was preceded in death by her husband Pino, her parents Henry &amp; Libby Estrada, her brother Danny, her Aunt Jo, and her dog Bo Jackson.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, December 3, 2020, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. and again on Friday morning, December 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. all at the McDougal&#39;s Caldwell Funeral Chapel.&nbsp; Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery following services.</em></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>

Obituary

   Lydia Patricia “Patsy” Estrada of Safford passed away on November 28, 2020.  She was born in Safford, AZ on March 17, 1963 to Henry Estrada & Libby Palma Estrada with siblings Gloria, Henry Jr., Kathy, Danny, Art, Victor, and Rudy.

   Patsy graduated from Safford High School in 1981, and went on to attend Eastern Arizona College.  She enjoyed playing softball so much that she began coaching.  She was very blessed to have four girls; Joanna, Lydia Kayla, and Tessa.

   She truly loved playing & coaching softball, fishing, camping, attending sporting events, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Patsy was also very excited about being able to go through the Temple for the first time, as she was very devoted to her faith.  Pasty loved seeing her granddaughter win a state championship, and living long enough to see her children grown.
