<p>Garry G. Wilber, 73, of North Vernon, passed away on Saturday. November 28, 2020, at home.</p> <p>A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Vernon Cemetery. Rev. Dan Barringer will officiate. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.</p> <p>Born on June 14, 1947, in Milan, Garry was the loving son of Glenn and Margaret (Hon) Wilber. He was united in marriage to Janice McClure on July 29, 1983. She survives.</p> <p>Garry served his Country proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War. He later retired from Cummins after 47 yrs. Garry was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.</p> <p>In addition to his wife, Janice Wilber of North Vernon, survivors include daughters, Lori (Alan) Morrison of North Vernon, Lana Williams of Columbus, and Tammy (Jeff Sims) Smith of Columbus; sons, Lonnie (Karen) Williams of Columbus, Eddie (Tracey) Williams of Shelbyville, and Junior (Leslie) Smith of Columbus; brother, David (Denise) Wilber of Columbus; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.</p> <p>Garry was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Margaret Wilber; son, Lynn Wilber.</p> <p>Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County or First Baptist Church of North Vernon.</p>

Born on June 14, 1947, in Milan, Garry was the loving son of Glenn and Margaret (Hon) Wilber. He was united in marriage to Janice McClure on July 29, 1983. She survives.
