Michael Hubbell, Sr. of Fairfax Station passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27th after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Mike was born in Washington, D.C. to Golden Stokes and Doris Hubbell, who have both predeceased him. Mike is survived by Jean, his beloved wife of 41 years. He is also survived by their children Emily (Jay) Reid, Stacey, Michael (Meredyth), and Jordan, as well as his grandchildren Austin and Logan Reid, Stokes and Titus Hubbell. In addition, Mike is remembered by his sisters Donna Engle, Carol Willis, Mary Urda and Dianne Briggs, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday December 3rd, 10:00AM at The Church of the Nativity, Burke, VA. Family will receive visitors prior at 9:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
