Robert Milton Akers, age 66 of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Parkview Nursing Home, Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born April 3, 1954 in Martin, Kentucky to the late Ernest & Elizabeth Martin King. He was a retired security guard. He is survived by his Brother & Sister: James Akers of Prestonsburg, Kentucky & Susie Barbee of Andersonville, Tennessee; Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother & Sisters: Jimmy Joe Akers, Mary Jane Smith & Rooney Bean Dunlap. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Visitation will begin Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Wednesday Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky Burial will follow at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Kentucky
