Marianne J. Housiau, née Blie, a resident of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, died unexpectedly at home on November 29, 2020, at the age of
61.
Marianne is survived by her loving husband Thierry Housiau, her children,
Justin, Bruno, and Arianna Housiau, her grandchildren, Jayden & Adyanna;
her sisters and brothers-in-law Michèle and Rudy and Martine; Marie-
Noelle and Richard; her nieces and nephews, Gaëlle & husband Bram;
Olivier and his wife Laurence, Loic and Zoë, Laurence, Maxime; Victoria
Lew and her partner Zachariah III, Joshua and his partner Leyna; great-
nieces and nephews, Marielou, Manon, Morgane and Alexander (children
from Gaëlle and Bram), June and Liz (children of Laurence), Edouard (child
of Olivier and Laurence), Billie (daughter of Loic and Zoë).
Marianne was born in Wilrijk, Belgium on February 20, 1959, to André Blie
and Irene Keymeulen. She immigrated to Rhode Island, United States in
1980. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Pharm D
degree. These last 10 years, she worked as a pharmacist with Walgreens
where she will be sorely missed.
Marianne was a devoted wife. She loved being a mom and truly lived her
life to the fullest, enjoying simple pleasures, Disney World and Universal,
chatting with family and friends, loved biking and walks, spending time with
her family was her true joy. Saddled throughout her life with a host of
medical problems, she remained strong and optimistic and never lost her
sparkle. She was funny at times and had the uncanny ability to reach
people in a deep and positive way. Marianne was the strongest woman I
have ever known. She will truly be missed.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, December 10. Gathering at 12P,
and Prayer service at 12:30P, at Brewer and Sons Funeral Home, 1018 West
Ave., Clermont FL 34711. (Mask, social distancing, and no hugging apply)
