Funeral services for John Paul Cornell, Jr., 88, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel with the Rev. Henry Stamper officiating, with visitation from 2:30 p.m until 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Batesburg, 436 W. Church St., Batesburg, SC 29006.

  Mr. Cornell died Thursday, November 26, 2020.  Born in Clarksburg, WV, he was the son of John Paul Cornell Sr. and the Bernice Whiteman Cornell. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired from a career in sales with IBM.

  Survivors include daughters, Allison Lee Cornell, Kim Duvall, grandchildren, Alexander Duvall, Ryan Duvall, Meghan Duvall and Carlos Miranda.
