Alexander Davis (aka “Alex,” “Lil Alex,” and “A”), 23, of Arkansas, on November 23, 2020. Alex graduated from Mills High School (2015). He desired to become a license barber at the age of 17, and he achieved his goal in 2018. Alex confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was a member of Greater Zion Hill Baptist Church, where he demonstrated his servant’s heart by serving faithfully as an usher for many years and in many other roles when needed. He was preceded in death by his father, Booker Davis, Jr., maternal grandfather, Jessie Baker Jr., maternal great-grandmothers, Evangelist Eva Mae Smith, and Dussinae Baker. He is survived by his mother, Brandy Baker of Little Rock, AR, paternal grandparents, Booker and Jorene Davis Sr. of Wrightsville, AR, who, along with his mother, were instrumental with rearing such a loving young man, nine siblings, Dequasha, Detrianna, and Destiny Murray of Little Rock, AR, Anthony (AJ), and Jasmine Davis of Wrightsville, AR, Daylon, Anora, Dashaia and Derek Bond of Wrightsville, AR, a special uncle, Leonard Baker, a special aunt, Pastor Stephanie Newton, a special friend, Ty Conley, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Alex was a young man who lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed hanging with family and friends, shopping, traveling, and cruising in his mother’s car. He was the best dressed wherever he went. If anyone questioned his outfit, he would typically respond, “Stop the cap.” One thing we are certain of is that Alex knew that God and his family loved him unconditionally.
