Dorothy Olsen Charest, 92, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Alphonse Charest, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2020. Born on December 9, 1927 in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late William Olsen and Gertrude Jeffrey.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Schick Manufacturing for many years.  After retirement, Dorothy spent many happy hours at the Milford Senior Center.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Margaret Hiller, Nancy Charest, James and (Carol) Charest, and Susan Charest; her grandchildren, Asa Paradis, Illa Hiller, James Guckin, and Ann Marie Peterson; her great grandchildren, Clara and Hypatia Hiller, Cecelia and Elliott Peterson, and Mya Guckin.  She was predeceased by her sister, Delores Kretz.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dorothy’s neighbors, who turned their small community into an extended family by caring for her through the years. 

All services will be private at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
