Mrs. Olivia Herring McLeod, 85, of 1391 Garland Airport Rd., passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Mrs. McLeod was born April 29, 1935 in Sampson County to the late Willie Ivey Herring & Cattie Jane Lamb. She is preceded in death by her brother; Curtis Herring.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 01, 2020 at Herring Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM.

Mrs. McLeod leaves to cherish her memory her husband; Lawrence “Bunny” McLeod, her son; Harry Kendrick of Garland, NC, her step-daughter; Brenda J. McLeod of Brooklyn, NY, her sister; Willie Herring Williams of Greensboro, NC, 4 grandchildren,5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
