Fay Lynnette Magner, 63, a resident of Elkins passed from this life Friday, November 27, 2020, at home surrounded by family and under the care of Mountain Hospice. Fay was born Saturday, January 26, 1957, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Norman Glen Magner and Yvonne Katherine White Magner who survives. Also left to cherish her memory are five siblings, Sheryl Landis and husband Leonard, Kimberly Carver, Anita Edmond and husband Steve, Aggie Stell and husband Rick, and Norman Magner and wife Stephanie, nieces and nephews, Tavona Shaw and husband Tim, Joshua Carver, Corey Carver, Jacob Landis, Ethan Stell, Courtney Magner, Colleen Magner, and Stephen Edmond, step-nephews, Jeremy, Chad, and Adam Landis, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Fay had been employed as a social worker for Randolph County Department of Health and Human Resources for forty-three years. She loved planting flowers and crafting. Fay was a member of the Elkins congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Due to COVID precautions, private funeral services for immediate family will take place and interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens.
