D.J. Betenbough, 95, longtime Deming resident passed away Thursday November 26, 2020 at his home.

No service will take place as were his wishes. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

D.J. was born March 2, 1925 to Maudie Johnson and Cnitgrouss George Betenbough in Tatum, NM. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. 

He is survived by his children, Donald Betenbough and his wife Cassie of Paris, TX, T.J. Betenbough of Deming and Damon Betenbough and his wife Karen of Whitman, Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ann Betenbough.
