Ernestine Fay Russell, 91, of Little Rock passed from this life on November 26, 2020. She was born September 15, 1929 in Brownwood, Texas to the late Lynn Lester and Laura Virginia Palmer Berry. She was member of Hebron Baptist church, Order of the Eastern Star and the Good Sam’s. Her Hobbies included playing cards and reading, but her greatest joy was found in her family.She retired from UPS after more than twenty-five years of dedicated service. Ernestine was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Ralph A. Russell, brother, Lester Berry, sister, Virginia Robertson and daughter-in-law, Wendy Russell.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Terry) Hughes of Magnolia, Texas, Glenn Russell of Hensley, Thomas Russell (Rhonda) of Bryant, J.J. Muehlhausen (Bob) of Powell, Ohio and Donald Russell of Earle. Other survivors include sixteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020 at Hebron Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Hinkson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens cemetery after a brief service at 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Texarkana Funeral Home: Arkansas Chapel, 4801 Parkway Drive, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854. Visitation will be Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Dexter Shook, Cody Muehlhausen, Josh Powell, Jake Powell, Matt Mills and Caleb Russell will serve as pallbearers. Memorials in Ernestine’s memory may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, Hymn Book Fund, 18715 Kanis Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223.
