Errol D Reece

Errol D. Reece was born on June 5, 1967, in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Verona Murray-Reece and Gerald Reece. As a child, he attended Holy Trinity Primary School in Kingston. Later on in 1983, Errol migrated to the United States to be with his mother and siblings. As Errol set foot here in Boston, MA he knew he had to work hard to help provide for his family. Errol attended English High School in Roxbury, Massachusetts. It was then Errol had dreams of becoming an entrepreneur. He enjoyed cars, fishing, dominoes, spending time with family/ friends, traveling, and soccer. He met his life partner, Evoney and caregiver in September 1988 and later they had a daughter and son. They bought a home and tried to live as a “typical American family”. They created EDR Towing, Inc., and ran the company together for over 5 years. Errol worked long hard hours to begin the company, he had an admirable work ethic. He was extremely disciplined in how he lived his life, his integrity and dedication were unmatched. Errol was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer in 2012. A few years after the birth of his last son. with this diagnosis he was now hyper focused on leaving a legacy for his children. Now with the struggle of his health he had to work even harder. Through the journey of trying to overcome the cancer he was able to slow down and spend more time at home with his family, friends and most importantly his grandchildren. Errol was blessed to have family and friends both near and far who would give the shirt off their back to see him doing well. Friends and family who have countless memories with and of Errol will keep his name and dignity alive. Errol is survived by his life Partner Evoney Chung, daughters Rheanna Reece, and Chy-Ane Sims-Reece, his sons Errol Reece and Dillon Reece, his grandchildren, Brian Dorsey, Ryan Dorsey and Amari Reece, his brothers, Owen, Paul, and Patrick, his sisters Andrea, Angela ,and Michelle. He is preceded in death by his parents Verona A. Murray-Reece, and Gerald Reece Errol was called home early morning November 17th. Surrounded by his children and loved ones.
