<p><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Gloria Faye Bolin Taylor, 75, of Crossett, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at her home.&nbsp; On August 8, 1945, she was born to her parents, Rev. James Riley, and Mary Doris Oden Bolin.&nbsp; She attended school in Crossett where she lived most of her life but&nbsp;finished&nbsp;at&nbsp;County Line High School in Branch, Arkansas in 1962.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Gloria was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed it thoroughly.&nbsp; She was a licensed cosmetologist&nbsp;for many&nbsp;years and for 10 years, owned her own&nbsp;salon called &ldquo;Hair Pizzazz.&rdquo;&nbsp; In addition, she served on the Ashley County Medical Center Auxiliary, and worked alongside her best friend and husband in the restaurant they owned, &ldquo;The Kountry Kettle&quot; for 17 years.&nbsp; Gloria was very&nbsp;passionate about cooking and also enjoyed fishing and cuddling with her beloved fur-baby, &quot;Bubbles&quot;.&nbsp; She loved the Lord, and with the same passion she had for her work, she prayed.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">She&nbsp;was a devoted wife, and mother, but her greatest joy was being a grandmother, because her grands were her world and she loved them immensely.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, James Kello Shaw; one infant daughter, Tuayna Louise Morrow; four brothers, Kenneth, Jimmy, Bob, and Jackie&nbsp;Bolin; and one sister, Belva Jo Bolin.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Owen Taylor of Crossett; four daughters, Rhonda Seay and husband, Scott, of Sallisaw, OK, Liz Nelson and husband, Mike, of Bastrop, LA, Karen Ederington and husband, Todd, of Alexander, AR, and Diane Hamilton of Little Rock; two sisters, True Craig and Carolyn Burchell both of Crossett; two brothers, Kenny Bolin and wife, Janet,&nbsp;also of Crossett, and Joe Bolin and wife, Zoe, of Dermot, AR; twelve grandchildren, Brandi Lenard, Destiny McGilton, Nikki Abney, Kaley Ederington, Lance Withers, Michelle Buske, Nathan Shaw, Chelsie Brooks, Tera Monceret, Jessica Daniels, Jake Seay, and Sydney Moore; along with twenty-three great-grandchildren.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett, with Bro. Kenny Bolin, officiating, followed by an interment open for friends and family at Eden Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.&nbsp; Pallbearers are Lance Withers, Steve Withers, Nathan Shaw, Andy Buske, Todd Ederington, and Mike Nelson. Gloria Faye Bolin Taylor, 75, of Crossett, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at her home.  On August 8, 1945, she was born to her parents, Rev. James Riley, and Mary Doris Oden Bolin.  She attended school in Crossett where she lived most of her life but finished at County Line High School in Branch, Arkansas in 1962.

Gloria was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed it thoroughly.  She was a licensed cosmetologist for many years and for 10 years, owned her own salon called “Hair Pizzazz.”  In addition, she served on the Ashley County Medical Center Auxiliary, and worked alongside her best friend and husband in the restaurant they owned, “The Kountry Kettle" for 17 years.  Gloria was very passionate about cooking and also enjoyed fishing and cuddling with her beloved fur-baby, "Bubbles".  She loved the Lord, and with the same passion she had for her work, she prayed.
