Lydia Aguirre, 66 a resident of Questa, NM born May 5, 1954 passed away on November 24, 2020. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Alejandro and Felicita Gonzales of Questa, NM; brothers Alex Gonzales, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; Ricky Gonzales of Questa, NM; Maurice Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM; and granddaughter Aleah Gilbuena of Las Vegas, NV.

She is survived by her loving husband Juan Aguirre of Questa, NM; sister Rita Rael of Taos, NM; sister-in-law Velva Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM, sister-in-law Norma Gonzales of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Annette Selph (Rodney Gilbuena) of Las Vegas, NV; Nannette Selph of Las Vegas, NM; Dixie Selph (Joe Gomez) of Questa, NM; Felicia Castillo (Andres Velenzuela) of Questa, NM; 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

We once had someone special

Why we thought the world of you

We could give a million answers

And they all would be true

The heartache and the sadness

May not always show

People say it lessens
