Barbara “Barb” Jean Becker, 84, passed away peacefully at home in Madison, AL on Wednesday, surrounded by her adoring children. She was preceded in death by her father, George W. Becker; brother, James E. Becker; nephew, Edward M. O’Neil and mother, Mabel P. Becker. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Becker O’Neil, Endwell, NY; two daughters, Bethlynn Sanders, Madison and Shelly A. Congdon, Huntsville; son, Jim Congdon, Madison; grandson, Jacob M. Harrison, Darlington, SC; granddaughter, Chloe A. Congdon, Madison; and many other special nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 Saturday, November 28 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home with the Rev. Traci Loveman officiating. Cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy in Barb’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
