Tabor City, North Carolina Mr. Harry Lee Soles, age 86, died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at his home in Tabor City, NC. Born on September 1, 1934 in Tabor City, NC, he was the son of the late Wade H. Soles, and the late Bessie Boswell Soles. Mr. Soles served his country with courage and honor in the US Army during the Korean conflict. After the Army, Mr. Soles worked with International Harvester until his retirement and was a longtime member of Oak Dale Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Wade Soles of Tabor City, NC; daughter, Debra Mitchell and husband, Billy, of Tabor City, NC; sister, Verna Ree Hudson of Tabor City, NC; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Soles was predeceased by his wife, Janet Lois Ruhland Soles, and two brothers, Wade Soles, Jr. and Cecil Oree Soles. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Oak Dale Baptist Church with Pastor Haywood Fowler and Reverend Larry Soles officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of service on Monday at Oak Dale Baptist Church. Committal services will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
