ALLISON C.A. DRYSDALE (nee JOYCE) October 23, 1936 – November 25, 2020 The family announces the peaceful passing of Allison Drysdale on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at home after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 84. Allison leaves behind her wonderful husband of 60 years, Dennis; sons David (Holly) of Chilliwack, B.C., Donald of Barrie, ON., nephew, Duncan Brown of Vancouver; plus all of Allison’s wonderful cousins and friends from school, nursing, curling, neighbours, and Toniata Campers. Allison was predeceased by her mom and dad, Wilf & Mary Joyce; sister, Gwen Brown, her daughter Maureen; Dennis’s parents, Frank & Bea; brother, Dalton and step-father Charlie Nash. Allison really enjoyed her working years in nursing, starting with The Victorian Order of Nurses, and ending up as an occupational health nurse. Allison & Dennis enjoyed many wonderful years together, especially Falcon Lake in the summer and travelling to many hot spots in the winter, as well as activities such as curling and bonspieling. The family would like to thank the nurses at Palliative Care for their great support and help during this time. Allison appreciated all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, or to a charity of your choice. Family invite friends to sign the online book of condolences at ejcoutu.ca
