Mr. Joel “Joey” Wayne Hancock, 36, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Joey was born on July 4, 1984 in Davidson County. He will be remembered for his love of the Dallas Cowboys, and his family. Joey will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his mother, Tammy Billingsley and husband Sam of Lexington; his father, Jerry Hancock and wife Bobbie of Thomasville; three children, Bryan, Lilly and Kaylynn Hancock; maternal grandmother, Brenda Parrish; five siblings, Josh, Zach, Billie, Whitney, Joseph; aunt, Tonya Ward; extended family, and friends.

A gathering of friends will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons funeral home in Thomasville. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
