It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maryann Bride Packwood announces her passing. Maryann passed away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband - John Thomas Packwood; parents - Eli & Annie Pilgrim and brothers - Dorman Pilgrim and Ernest Pilgrim. Left with many fond and loving memories are her children - Annie (Joseph), Ernest, Morris (Joanne), Chris (Michelle) and Vivian; step-daughter – Melvie (Harold); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; sisters - Betty Lou (Ron), Florence, Isa (Gerald); brothers - Gerald (Carol) and George as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Public Visitation took place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Woodstock, NL on Friday, November 27th, 2020 from 10:00AM-12:00PM, following specific guidelines pertaining to the global pandemic and associated restrictions. Majors Neil and Dolores Abbott conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at The Salvation Army Citadel, Woodstock, NL on Friday, November 27th, 2020. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Woodstock, NL. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donation's may be made in Maryann's memory to The Salvation Army Citadel, Woodstock, NL. We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Maryann's memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the Packwood family. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
