Brian Edward Longjohn
Brian Edward Longjohn, 64, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his home. Brian was born on August 8, 1956, in Kalamazoo, to Edward & Betty (Shire) Longjohn. He was employed at Coca Cola North American for over 40 years as a tanker bay handler where he assisted in making juices and teas the company distributed. On March 3, 1993, Brian married Judy (Elferink) Anderson in Hartford. Brian proudly volunteered his time as to the Decatur Village Fire Department. Many of Brian’s friends would describe him as a true outdoor man. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. When he used to live at Gravel Lake, he was known to invite friends and family over to spend time boating on the lake during the day and evenings would be enjoyed around a campfire. Brian also liked to watch Nascar. Brian is survived by his wife, Judy; children and grandchildren. A memorial celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 7th, at 2 PM at Newell Chapel, 83313 N. M51, Decatur. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
