Clara Ellen Peeler
Mrs. Peeler, 89, of Charlotte died on November 24, 2020. Born in Rocky Mount, NC on March 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Max Francis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jenkins Peeler and a brother, Bill Francis, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Peeler. She was a Wake Forest graduate, a charter teacher at Providence Day School, and a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, J.L. Peeler and five children: Laura Fischler (Kenny) of Raleigh, NC, Beth Morris (Jerry) of Lake Hartwell, GA, Ellen Auten (Jimmy) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Mark Peeler of Due West, SC, and Sterling Peeler of Weddington, NC. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew and five great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Endowment Fund, 4519 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226.March 28, 1931 - November 24, 202003/28/193111/24/2020
