<p><a class="address" title="View more from Manchester, TN" href="/cities/manchester">Manchester</a> - Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Elaine Bruce, age 68 of Manchester will be conducted at 1:00pm, Wednesday, April 2 from the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Welker Cemetery. Visitation with the Bruce family will be from 4:00pm until 9:00pm, Tuesday April 1 at Manchester Funeral Home. Mrs. Bruce passed away Sunday, March 30 at her home in Manchester surrounded by her loving family. <br />Mrs. Bruce was born in Manchester, Tennessee the daughter of the late Harley and Orphia Naoma Cooper Freeze. She was a member of the New Union Church of Christ and was formerly a seamstress and then a bookkeeper at Garner's Furniture in Manchester. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Eugene Bruce and by a brother, Eugene Freeze, by a sister in law, Helen Freeze and by a brother in law, Allen Vaughn "Buddy" Bruce.
