Manchester - Memorial services for Mr. Charles Edward Ludwick, age 65 of Manchester will be conducted at 2pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Glen Ludwick officiating. Mr. Ludwick passed away on January 30, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Ludwick was born to Alice M. and Glen H. Ludwick, Sr. in Fayetteville, AR on August 17, 1944. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Paulette S. Ludwick; two children, Mark Johnson of Minnesota and Colette Johnson of Arizona; five grandchildren, Dakota, Dustin, Maggie, Timmy and Travis; two brothers, Alan (Stacy) Ludwick of Bella Vista, AR and Glen (Linda) Ludwick, Jr. of Springdale, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his loving dog, Brewzer.
Charlie was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served three tours in Vietnam, and belonged to the VFW. After retiring from the Navy, he was employed with General Physics for ten years. He was co-owner of Dan's Harley Services, worked with Jones Bros. as a heavy equipment operator and loved everything he did. Most recently, he was employed by Max Northcutt Surveying as a surveyor. Charlie was an avid Harley Davidson rider and belonged to several motorcycle clubs and enjoyed traveling the country with his wife and friends. Among his other interests were his love of golf, being with friends, reading and bowling. His friends and family will remember him for his humor and as one who enjoyed life, people, and his country to the fullest. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
