CONNIE ELAINE (SEAGLE) ISBELL, age 85 of Jemison, passed away on November 24, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Shelby County on May 1, 1935; the daughter of the late Howard Earl Seagle and the late Maudie Mable Thompson Seagle.

She was a devoted Christian woman who loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church No. 1 for over 60 years. She was also a dedicated member of her church’s choir. She was loved by her family, and enjoyed being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her care for others, whether it was cooking and preparing a meal, giving of her time, money, or talents. She was a caring person.

She is survived by: Husband of 65 years, Bob Isbell of Jemison; Daughter, Diane (Chuck) Calloway of Jemison; Son, Tim (Donna) Isbell of Feeding Hills, MA; Daughter, Vicki (Dale) Jones of Alabaster; Grandchildren: Alex (Scott) Ellison of Jemison, Allison (Blake) Bright of Cullman, Rhyan (Patrick) Nobles of Birmingham, Shelby (DJ) Elton of Shaw AFB, SC , and Robert Isbell of Feeding Hills, MA ; Great-Grandchildren: Dylan Ellison, Bennett Bright, Alivia Ellison, Barrett Bright, Will Nobles, and Ansley Bright; Brother, Earl (Stella) Seagle of Alabaster; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 1:00pm from the Providence Baptist Church No. 1 with Rev. Allen Foster officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family request that social distancing guidelines please be respected during the services.

A private family burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Maylene, AL.
