William "Red" Phelps, 90 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday November 24, 2020 at the Fordsville Nursing & Rehab in Ohio County, KY. William was born August 30, 1930 in Butler County, KY to the late Ernest Jr. and Beulah Bratcher Phelps. He was of the Baptist Faith and a retired farmer. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Sharon Kay Phelps. William "Red" Phelps is survived by six daughters Tina Dockery (Stanford), Shelia Neighbors, Becky Belcher, Anita Dockery all of Morgantown, KY; Rita Phelps and Michelle Patel both of Bowling Green, KY; three sons James Phelps, William Jonathon Phelps (Georgia) and Michael Phelps all of Morgantown, KY; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In light of the current health and safety risk the Phelps family has requested that all services be privately held at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
