<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Bobby A. Graham, 95, of Eugene, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 22nd at Rock Island Village in Eldon.&nbsp; He was born August 3, 1925 the son of O.C. and Rose (Frank) Graham.&nbsp; Bobby was united in marriage on February 2, 1947 to Wanda (Bontrager) Graham who preceded him in death on September 18, 2020.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Following high school graduation in 1943, Bobby joined the United States Army.&nbsp; He began his WWII service with basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood and was later assigned to Company A 239th Engineer Construction Battalion.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>In early 1944, Bob and his fellow battalion members began their journey to the South Pacific where they served in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands.&nbsp; He was discharged from active duty in February of 1946 following thirty months of service, twenty of which were overseas. For his service, he was awarded the Asiatic PAC Theatre Campaign Ribbon, two Bronze Stars, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Ribbon.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Upon his return home, Bob began farming alongside Wanda, and eventually, with their three sons.&nbsp; For over 70 years, the Grahams raised chickens, turkeys and registered Angus cattle.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Bob&rsquo;s greatest hobby was showing foxtrotter horses, winning numerous awards over his 40+ years of riding.&nbsp; Later in life, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren&rsquo;s and great grandchildren&rsquo;s athletic and school activities.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>He was a member of Eugene Christian Church, and through the years, he was active in the community as a member of Spring Garden Community Club, Eugene Saddle Club, Eugene Cemetery Board, Cole R-V School Board, Miller County Farm Bureau and proudly served on the Three Rivers Electric Board of Directors for 27 years.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Survivors include:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Three sons: Terry Graham (Phyllis), Rick Graham (Sharon), and Randy Graham (Maida) all of Eugene.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Seven grandchildren: Tonya Kliethermes, Christopher Graham, Matt Graham, Bryan Graham, Travis Graham, Brett Graham and Bethany Schoon.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Fourteen great grandchildren: Ashlynn, Ryleigh, Grady, Reagan, Brody, Ayla, Liam, Jase, Alyse, Kellen, Koy, Aubrey, Gentry and Cort.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Sisters, Betty Winters, Overland Park, KS and Wanda Tucker, Eugene.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, his parents and one infant son, Oliver.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, November 29, 2020, 2:00 PM at Spring Garden Cemetery, Eugene, MO.&nbsp; Full Military Honors will be presented.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>The family would like to thank all of those who provided in-home care, and the caregivers of Rock Island Village and Hospice Compassus.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Memorial contributions are suggested to:&nbsp; Hospice Compassus, PO Box 5, Eldon, MO 65026.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Bobby A. Graham, 95, of Eugene, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 22nd at Rock Island Village in Eldon.  He was born August 3, 1925 the son of O.C. and Rose (Frank) Graham.  Bobby was united in marriage on February 2, 1947 to Wanda (Bontrager) Graham who preceded him in death on September 18, 2020.
