<p>Gary Anderson, 84 of Evansville died Saturday, November 21, 2020, with his wife LouAnn by his side.</p> <p>Gary Truman Anderson was born on April 24, 1936, in Evansville, Minnesota the son of George and Lucille Anderson.&nbsp; He was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Evansville.&nbsp; Gary attended Evansville Public School, graduating from Evansville High School in 1954.&nbsp;</p> <p>Gary married LouAnn Fedje in 1957, they lived in Evansville except for the time he was working on the pipeline.&nbsp; He was employed with Sheehan Pipeline of Oklahoma, John Henry Ford in Elbow Lake, and then worked thirty-two years with MnDOT, retiring in 1999.&nbsp; Gary also operated Gary&rsquo;s Repair out of his garage.&nbsp; He served on the Evansville Fire Department for thirty-four years.&nbsp; As a kid, when the ducks were flying on Christina Lake, Gary enjoyed skipping school to hunt.&nbsp; He enjoyed time spent on his ten acre hobby farm, deer hunting with his sons and grandsons.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his wife, LouAnn; son, Dean (Kim) Anderson of Evansville; daughter, Cindy (Steve Messenger) Peterson of Fergus Falls; six grandchildren, Tyler (Kellie) Anderson, Brett (Amanda) Anderson, Stephanie Anderson, Travis Peterson, Dustin Peterson and Melanie (Ryan) Ott; three-step grandchildren, Kendra (Ben) Zietz, Jim Ahlquist, Lauren Ahlquist, nine great-grandchildren, Ryker, Madison, Olivia, Kylie, Carson, Jaiden, Nolan, Brady and Jax; brother, Bruce (Pat) Anderson of Bemidji; and by numerous relatives and friends.&nbsp; Gary was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lucille Anderson; son, Wade Anderson; brother, DuWayne Anderson; and sister, Betty (Harvey) Larson.</p> <p>Private Family Services will be held.</p> <p>Interment: Mound Grove Cemetery</p> <p>Funeral Home: Glende-Nilson of Evansville</p> <p>Condolences:GlendeNilson.Com</p> <center><a href="https://portal.midweststreams.com/pdfs/displaypdf/14678" target="_blank"><br><img style="border:0;width:220px;box-shadow: 10px 10px 10px rgba(0,0,0,0.3);margin-bottom: 24px;margin-top: 30px;" src="https://portal.midweststreams.com/pdfs/displaythumbnail/14678" /><br><div style=";border: 1px solid #565656b3;max-width: 400px;width: fit-content;padding: 11px 31px;margin-bottom: 40px;font-size: 18px;margin-top: 1px;background: rgba(255,255,255,0.5);font-family: 'Lato';font-weight: 600; color:#333;text-decoration-line:none">Gary's Memorial Folder</div></a><center>

Gary Anderson, 84 of Evansville died Saturday, November 21, 2020, with his wife LouAnn by his side.

Gary Truman Anderson was born on April 24, 1936, in Evansville, Minnesota the son of George and Lucille Anderson.  He was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Evansville.  Gary attended Evansville Public School, graduating from Evansville High School in 1954.

Private Family Services will be held.
