John P. Cangelier

<p>John P. Cangelier, 90, of Scott Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Beloved and devoted husband for 46 years of Margaret Makatura Cangelier; dear father of John and Louis Cangelier; loving grandfather of Christina, Lauren and Alivia Cangelier; great-grandfather of Capri; brother-in-law of Jenny Baer, Dorothy Jaworski and Sandra Faverio; special uncle of Mike, Sandy, Michelle, Jeff, Janet, Renee, John and Laura; great-uncle of Jennifer, Kristin and Jak; cousin of Chuck Lucci, Annamarie Frazetta and Antoinette Rennebeck; John played the violin and in his youth had a 16-piece orchestra which he led with his violin. John was a well-known and respected&nbsp;&nbsp;automobile dealer. He and his cousin, Chuck Lucci, owned and operated the first Toyota dealership in Pittsburgh, Carlile Toyota. He was also the owner of Carlile Auto Sales on West Liberty Avenue. John also designed and built custom cars, which he featured at cars shows on the east coast for many years. He will be remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends will be welcomed at Laughlin Cremation and Funeral Tributes, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 400 until 7:00 p.m. (masks and social distancing will be required). Everyone will meet directly at SS. Simon and Jude Church, 1067 Greentree Road, Scott Twp., on Saturday November 28, 2020 for his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.(masks and social distancing will be required). Private entombment will follow&nbsp;in Christ Our Redeemer-North Side Catholic Cemetery.</p>
