Robert H. “Bob” Rauschek, 92, of Decatur, IL passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at Lincolnshire Place in Decatur. Robert was born September 12, 1928, in Decatur, Illinois, the son of August and Edith Martha (Drops) Rauschek. He was a devoted husband and had retired as a Sales Service Engineer from AE Staley Manufacturing Company. Robert was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He married Nancy Hahn on April 9, 1950. They shared over sixty-nine years together. She preceded him in death on January 11, 2020. Surviving are his daughters: Judy Koshinski (Dave), Jean Kircher (Randy), and Jenise Miller; brother: Charles Rauschek (Phyllis); grandchildren: Julie Hovis, Jennifer Dahn (Mike), Ellen Knoeferl (Jeff), Amy Cook, Rob Reynolds (Karen), Erica Miller (Rob Hansen), Travis Rauschek (Kelly), and Ethan Miller (Nick Harris); great-grandchildren: Camden Hovis, Conner Hovis, Collin Hovis, Callie Hovis, Chloe Dahn, Jordan Dahn, Devin Summers, Abby Knoeferl, Micah Knoeferl, Mady Knoeferl, Savannah Cook, Emily Reynolds, Drew Reynolds, Austin Reynolds, Tyr Hansen, Lydia Rauschek, and Freyja Hansen; great-great-grandson: Liam McKittrick. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and wife: Nancy. Due to the State of Illinois Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1 Bachrach Ct.
