Taylor Marie Brock

Taylor Marie Brock, age 23, of Woodsboro, died suddenly Sunday, December 11, 2016. Born December 16, 1992 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of Frostina Marie Ecker (fiancé Robert Thomas) of Woodsboro and stepfather, Robert Ecker of Frederick; and Jeremy Brock and wife of Puerto Rico. Taylor was a 2010 graduate of Thomas Johnson High School. She had been employed as a dog groomer for Petco. She was talented in art and music, and loved making crafts with Zach on date night. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and had a passion for animals. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her long-time boyfriend Zach Moyer of Frederick; brother Ory P. Brock of Woodsboro; maternal grandparents Catherine and John Flickinger of Damascus; paternal grandparents, Darlene Walters and Jerry Brock of Georgia; great grandmothers, Elizabeth Smith and Louise Flickinger of Bowie; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and her beloved dogs Squishy, Mugs and Smudge. The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St. Woodsboro, Saturday, December 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a fellowship luncheon at the Woodsboro Volunteer Fire Co. Activities building, 10448 Coppermine Rd. There will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick County Humane Society, P.O. Box 3185, Frederick MD 21705-3185.
