<p><strong>John E. Hinkle, 86, of Winamac, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.</strong></p> <p><strong>John was born on February 5, 1934 in Camden, Indiana and is the son to the late Thaddeus and Edna (Horn) Hinkle.&nbsp; On July 2, 1966 in Knox, IN he married Betty M. Sutton who preceded him in death on October 11, 2010.</strong></p> <p><strong>John worked as a truck driver for DANA Corporation. He was a United States Army Veteran. John enjoyed watching Purdue Sports, Indy Car and NASCAR Racing. He enjoyed traveling all over the United States.</strong></p> <p><strong>Surviving is a daughter, Patricia (Everett) Russ of Fayettville, NC; son, Scott (Shelley Graves) Hinkle of Star City;&nbsp; son, Troy (Denise) Hiatt of Kewanna; two sisters, Maxine Young of Winamac; Nancy (Tom) Matthew of Monticello; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.</strong></p> <p><strong>He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Smith.</strong></p> <p><strong>John will be buried at a graveside service at Rock Creek Cemetery South of Logansport.</strong></p> <p><strong>You may sign John&rsquo;s guestbook and leave condolences for the family at <a href="http://www.gundrumcares.com/">www.gundrumcares.com</a></strong></p>

John E. Hinkle, 86, of Winamac, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.

John was born on February 5, 1934 in Camden, Indiana and is the son to the late Thaddeus and Edna (Horn) Hinkle.  On July 2, 1966 in Knox, IN he married Betty M. Sutton who preceded him in death on October 11, 2010.

John worked as a truck driver for DANA Corporation. He was a United States Army Veteran. John enjoyed watching Purdue Sports, Indy Car and NASCAR Racing. He enjoyed traveling all over the United States.
