James "Jimmy" Coggins

James (Jimmy) Ralph Coggins, 58, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home in Mandan, North Dakota. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 27, 2020, at DaWise-Perry/Mandan Crematory, Mandan. Visitation will be from one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan. Cov-19 restrictions apply, so attendance is limited. Jimmy was born March 6th, 1962 in Gwinnett County Georgia to Charles Ralph and Linda (Sizemore) Coggins. He grew up in Flowery Branch Georgia where he graduated early and went on to attend 2 trade schools for electrical and carpentry. He married Rae'Ann Stallings and had 2 kids. They later divorced. In 1992 he met Melissa Oster and they soon started a family. In 2001 they moved to North Dakota where he began working for local tree services. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing video games with his kids, listening to old country, fishing and road trips. He made friends easily and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be remembered for not only his tough exterior but his soft heart. He will always be missed by his children; Ashley Coggins (Rich) Rao, James Coggins, Kimberly Coggins (Brandon Riedinger), Matthew Coggins(Skyla Sharff) and Anna Coggins; his siblings; Connie McClure, Lisa Coggins McDonald , Paul Coggins, Terri Coggins Stolze(Terry), Timmy Coggins(Lisa Stanton); seven, grandchildren; Rae'ana, Devraj, Suresh Taileah; Johnathan; Jeremy; and Maverick and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Linda Coggins and two daughters; Jesse and Amanda. Flowers may be sent to DaWise-Perry/Mandan Crematory, Mandan.
