Ms. Leslie ReAnn Lewis of Grubbs, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, November 20, 2020, at the age of 28. She was born March 24, 1992 at Newport, the daughter of Tony Floyd Lewis, II, and Karie (Hubbard) Lewis. Leslie attended Tuckerman High School, and Searcy Beauty College. She was a licensed cosmetologist, who had a love for hair and makeup. Leslie was the family cheerleader, always trying to get them involved in anything and everything. She was always smiling and laughing, and was the life of the party. Leslie enjoyed raising chickens and other animals. She spent time hiking, traveling, and generally enjoyed being outside. She especially loved getting her family together. They meant everything to her. Leslie was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Estel and Gladys Lewis, Thurman and Emmie Evans, and Dean and Patty Hubbard; and her grandfather, Dwight Barnett. She is survived by her husband, Robert Essley of Grubbs; one son, Layxten Clark of Grubbs; two daughters, Lexie Clark of Grubbs, and Adalynn Essley of Grubbs; three stepdaughters, Kayden, Gillian, and Raegan Essley; her father, Tony Floyd Lewis, II and wife, Stephanie, of Midway; her mother, Karie (Hubbard) Lewis and boyfriend, Michael Story of Grubbs; one brother, Robert Austin Lewis and girlfriend, Anabelle, of Grubbs; one sister, Kailie Fortune and husband, Tyler of Tuckerman; paternal grandparents, Pat Barnett of Swifton, and Tony and Melissa Lewis of Midway; maternal grandparents, Mike and Betty Hubbard of Grubbs; aunts and uncles, Deavan Hughes, and husband, Ty, and Don Hubbard and wife, Carla; her niece and nephews, Mason Boy Tyler Fortune, Marley Jo Fortune, and Nolan Wayne Lewis; in-laws, Robert and Cathy Essley of Hot Springs; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, several cousins, and friends. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Saturday, November 28, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Llano Robinson and Mr. David Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Ballew’s Chapel Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tony Lewis, II, Tyler Fortune, Dylan Hubbard, Nick Barnett, Mark “Bam” Whatley, and Jon Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Mason Fortune, Austin Lewis, Tony Lewis, Sr., Jaxson Hughes, Ty Hughes, Mike Hubbard, Don Hubbard, Michael Story, Destiny Hughes, Charleigh Hubbard, and Layxten Clark.
