Daryle L. Semelroth, 78, of Galesburg, died on November 21, 2020 in his assisted living home in Galesburg Illinois.

Daryle was born in Monmouth, Illinois to Sherman and Florence I. (Peterson) Semelroth on February 4, 1942. He was married his wife Irene (Beard) Semelroth on May 12, 1973, sharing 39 loving years together.

Daryle is survived by his sister, Sandra Dillon, his brother-in-law, Terry Dillon, and several nieces and nephews and one grandniece, Khloe Ann. He is preceded in death by his wife Irene.

Daryle was born and raised in Monmouth, Illinois, He then later moved to Galesburg, taking up work with the Admiral/Maytag Corporation for 3 years, and at St. Mary’s Square until he retired in August of 2013. After Daryle retired he took on several hobbies including bingo, binge watching old western movies, and going out for breakfast. He loved playing the lottery. He played his same lucky numbers for 16 years and won several cash prizes. He also loved spending time with his wife while she took trips to the casinos, and spending time at the East Galesburg Community Chapel which he was a member of.
