Brendan Michael Shook, 21 of Louisville, Kentucky departed this Earth November 21st, 2020. He was born December 19th, 1998 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Beverly Shook and Derek Winston. Brendan attended Madison Consolidated School where he was a member of the wrestling team. He loved sports and was an avid Patriot and University of Louisville fan. He worked in the construction industry and was a jack of all trades, always fixing things and good with his hands. Brendan was very loyal, loving and caring. He was a teddy bear. Brendan was loving and passionate about his family, especially his grandfather, Daniel. Brendan was so goofy and was always making people laugh. He was the best little brother and the best big brother. He was an amazing uncle, especially to KJ. Brendan joined his grandmother, Brenda Jackson in heaven. He leaves to carry on his legacy his parents, Beverly Shook and Derek Winston; his precious baby boy, Dominic "Dom" Shook; his best friend and the mother of Dom, Kristin Downs; sister, De'Ericka Trabue; brothers, Keith Smyzer and Kaden Shook; maternal grandfather, Daniel Shook and step grandfather, Lee Jackson; nephews, Keith Smyzer Jr. "KJ," Zion Trabue and Zyaire Trabue; special uncle, Chris and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. The world is a place we visit only temporarily. Prior to our arrival, God has a plan for our lives, one that we shouldn't question. We must trust that He embraces us and brings us into His arms when He chooses. God has made that choice for Brendan, making him an angel to watch over his loved ones who remain. Brendan may not be seen, nor walk paths on Earth, but he will forever accompany those whom he loved as they walk their paths until God reunites them. #Forever21
